It’s too bad you don’t have a Charger. Their hubcaps just magically reappear.

Save yourself some money, and take off another hubcap. Then, put the two remaining hubcaps both on the driver’s side. That way, if anybody sees you in the driver’s seat, they see the hubcaps.

Solid answer. In seriousness, this may be the excuse I need to have one loose in hand and wander a junkyard to try to find a 15" wheel type that will fit the caps. I think they exist, because I’ve seen an R-code Galaxie with full wheel covers from a 500xl, which also had 14" wheels. I can now afford to monkey with a cap and experiment.
15" is a very long term goal to improve roadholding a little bit, but I want to do it the sleeper way with original covers if I can . I figured odds were good I’d lose a cap eventually and need to get spares but it’s still not something I’m happy about.

This is why I prefer center caps. Cheaper, less troublesome.

With my paintjob, dull-ish aluminum, and pitted chrome, that level of outre car show party foul would rank pretty low.

These are caps that fit inside the rim instead of up to the edge, so as to make the tires look yuuge. I can’t hate that.
I have dog dishes on the ranchero, though.
